Dondre’ Johnson’s passion for basketball emerged at an early age. He attended Knightdale High School in Raleigh, NC and suffered an injury that caused him to have to make huge sacrifices. He went to Prep School at Mount Zion Christian Academy in Durham, NC.
After graduating from Prep School, his journey was in full effect to follow his passion for fashion with an inspiring hope as a part of his “after the sweat dries” plan. Dondre’ started his own clothing line called “Young, Minded, Gifted (YMG) to encourage the youth and friends.
After attending Pitt Community College in Greenville, NC, he had the chance to play the game that has always meant so much to him yet again. He went on to become the Top Assist Leader as a Freshman and is continuing his post-secondary basketball career as a passionate designer ready to use his talents and future work endeavors to enthusiastically inspire the next generation of student athletes across America by opening a gym that gives them the opportunity to develop their ball handling skills as well as their “after the sweat dries” plan with determined ferocity.
