Mr. Loder was the 17th pick in the 1981 NFL Draft to the Kansas City Kings (Sacramento Kings) out of Alabama State University (HBCU). Kevin played 3 years in the NBA and is presently the Vice President of the NBRPA-Houston Chapter (National Basketball Retired Players Association) and has been for eleven years.
Mr. Loder is a businessowner (since 2005), working with small businesses and non-profits (20 million and under) by providing business development, resource development, formalization, and bank financing.
“After the sweat dried” from basketball, Mr. Loder has accumulated 20 + years of marketing, sales, operations, business development, economic development, and banking experience-including working in education. Kevin was the Program Coordinator (serving in 56 high schools) for the Cradle to Classroom (Zero to 3 Program) in the Chicago Public Schools, serving 3,700 teen moms and 250 dads in early childhood development. This was all in an effort to eliminate the dropout rate among teen parents in the Chicago Public School System.
Kevin has been married for 18 years and has a blended family of six adult children and 31 grandchildren (28 grand-children, and 3 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Loder sits on four Board of Directors. Kevin is in church leadership. He is a deacon and his wife is a deaconess.
